Brenda and Rick gave us their old dining room table. We were so excited because in our house we have a dining room but no table. For the past few months it been an empty room, mainly used to play with Tonks.
The table was really nice but not our style. I came up with the idea of painting the chair and legs of the table and re-stain the top. Matt and I love watching home make over shows. We've seen them do this bunches of time. We went for it! Turned out to be much more of a project then
we fist thought it would be. Thankfully we got some help. Matt's uncle Keith was a help! He got
After probably a month of work, the table is finished! We're so please with how it turned out. I think it's awesome to have something in our home that we worked on together.
Thanks Brenda, Ricky and Keith for all the help!

LOL! The typing didn't go around the pictures like I thought it would. Oops.
It looks beautiful in the room. And I promise you that you will never regret what you put into projects you do together or for your family. I remember doing the infant crib with Mommy, and all the painting and borders we put up in base houses to make them our homes. It's not just equity in your home, it's equity in your life.
You guys did a great job! It's looks really nice.
it looks wonderful! and i think it fits your style very well.
Hey guys, the table looks really good. We got a table from an estate sale of sorts. . .30 bucks, but really not in attractive shape. Yours looks good, maybe we need to paint ours. I would love to do the chairs all different colors, one red, one blue, green and a yellow one. . . Buuuut, I don't know if Dan would be all for that. Miss you guys, thanks for caving in and starting a blog.
I thought about painting the chairs different colors. Matt wasn't crazy about that idea. You'll have to send me pictures of whatever you do to your table.
