Odd Request
When I'm working I try to finish customer transactions by asking if there is anything else. I've gotten a lot of odd answers. Like, a milk shake and a side of fries, the winning lotto numbers, a million dollars (why is it that because I work in the bank I have access to millions of dollars???), and help cleaning the house. I try to play along with the customer, by volunteering Matt to clean for them. The customers think it's hilarious. On Friday I got the oddest answer to my question. The conversation went something like this:
Customer: "Can you help me with a divorce?
Me: Silence for a second while I was processing what he asked me, "a divorce?"
Customer: "Yeah!"
Me" "Nope, Can't help you with that. Have a good day!"
I was stunned! I couldn't believe he asked for help with a divorce. I think I'm going to try to find anew way of ending transactions from now on.

Nursery Update!
Mom came into town this weekend for our baby shower. While she's here Matt and I decided to take advantage of the extra set of hands and try to get most of the nursery finished. It looks so cute! I'm thrilled with how it's all coming together. The walls are Bicycle Yellow, very fun!
My grandma is here as well! She and mom are working on the bed skirt right now. I think it's best I stay out of the way. :-)

Surprise Shower
Once month we have sales week at the bank. We're given a number of accounts we're supposed to open. If we don't reach our goal we end up having to stay late and trying to figure out ways to get the accounts the next day. I don't look forward to sales week at all! Everyone is under a ton of pressure and hoping we don't have to stay.
This past Thursday was the night we had to stay late. I had a HORRIBLE attitude about it. I was really frustrated and whining to just about anyone who wold listen. They sent me to the conference room to make some phone calls. I walked in and realized they had tricked me! We were staying late so they could have a surprise shower for me!

Near the end
I've found that there are signs that the pregnancy is on the down hill:
Maternity shirts are no longer big enough to cover your belly
People ask, "You won't get any bigger, will you???"
When you sneeze or cough you better hope you don't have to go potty or it could get messy
It's a goodnight if you get up only once
You no longer fit most places if you're turned to the side
Puffy is a good way to describe your ankles, all the time
That's all for now. I'm only at 30 weeks so I'm sure there will be more to come!

New Years Resolution
I know I'm over a month behind in making my resolution. Better late than never, right? This year I decided I wanted to take it seriously and go beyond the typical resolutions. Plus I wanted to find one that I would stick with. So here it is,
To learn how to better prioritize
As I was thinking through what I wanted to work on changing in myself that what it all boiled down to, learning is it more important. To make sure the dishes are done or call a friend I hadn't talked to in a while? Read new book or do my quiet time? This has been challenging for me and I'm sure it will become more so once Jeremiah is born. It will be interesting to see how I've done at the end of the year and how my priorities have changed
