When taking your Christmas tree out, take the tree out of the water-filled-stand first. If you don't you'll end up with a big mess every where. Matt and I learned that the hard way today.

Oh dear! I'm so sorry. I hope there was no lasting damage. I glas to hear from your mom that you had a terrific visit. We need to get together soon. R gets home Saturday. Maybe we can see each other after church on Sun. Is that a possibility for you?
Hey - read this after I did the same thing! I really thought my little bucket thingy was empty! Any piece of advice as to how to get the pine tar water stain out of your carpets?!?!?
