PAW-ty!

We had Jeremiah's birthday party was last Saturday. It went so well! I loved how the everything turned out! I might have gotten a little carried away with the dog theme. Jeremiah had so much fun!

He was really into the gifts. At Christmas he could have cared less about opening gifts. He was reaching into bags and pulling out the tissue paper and present. I think cards were his favorite part! Which I find amusing because I am not a card person and come from a non-card family. Thankfully my in-laws are card people! He loves pulling them out, looking at them, having them read and can't forget chewing on them.

We made it through our first year of parenting! One down, countless to go!

Loving on Grandma. My mom cam from Kansas to celebrate Jeremiah's first birthday. She's was a huge help getting ready.

Oh the puppy cupcakes! Aren't they cute??? I found them online and knew they would be perfect! Mom, Brenda and I made them. I was afraid it would take FOREVER but with the three of us working it went pretty quickly.

He kept looking at the candle while we sang to him. It was almost like he thought we were just teasing him, that we were going to take it away from him.

He was a little unsure at first. He picked all the frosting and was kind of playing with it. Finally I was able to get him to taste it. Oooh, he liked it! He would get so excited before he would put a bite in his mouth that he would start shaking and then take another bite! So cute! He devoured the whole thing!
